Ansel Adams

Ansel Adams is a widely famous photographer. He is best known for his nature and black and photography. As a child he was very shy and reserved. This lead him to being homeschooled until he received a diploma equivalent to graduating eight grade.  As I child he developed his love of music and nature. Hiking and exploring were other passions of his. His famous photograph monolith the face of half dome was taken in 1927. Over the years Ansel Adams has gained a high standing in the photography world. This photograph is a good example of one of his due to its natural setting, use of black and white, and beautiful contrast between the lit side of the sand dune and the side in the shadow.

Found Panorama Post

I like this panorama because it shows a beautiful scene. The panorama really adds to the picture because it shows more than a regular picture would.

This panorama is really interesting because it shows the cool effects you can create with a panorama shot. The cat's stretched mouth gives me an idea for a creative panorama.

Found Face Story

This is Steve. He is one of the friendliest faces at Newberg High School. He's always up to chat and if you promise not to laugh he might show you his secret talent: singing. Though he's very original he isn't lonely. The rest of  his family is scattered around campus and once all the kids go home after school they come together to play games and gossip.During the school day Steve diligently works to cover a hole. He sees his job as very important and heroic as it prevents kids from falling and hurting themselves. His face isn't the biggest or most noticeable but he's one of the friendliest and funniest faces you could meet.

Favorite Picture Post

This is a picture that I recently took. I really like the silhouette and the shadow made by the biker. This is a good example of the type of photos that I like because it shows something happening.
